How to be a part of DPL’s Summer Reads
DPL Summer Reads has:
- No attendance requirement; participate through the Reader Zone app.
- No DPL card needed to participate, but a Juvenile DPL card gets a child (0-17 years) access to library materials in our Youth Services Room
- ALL ARE WELCOME to our events, whether you are a resident or visitor, whether you have a DPL card or not. Come celebrate summer and reading with us!
Goal-based reading programs
This year, DPL SUMMER READS is using an internet-based system called
READER ZONE.
How to Sign Up:
1. Search for “Reader Zone” on your app store.
2. Install the app on your Android or Apple device.
3. Make an account and add your reader(s).
4. Join DPL’s reading program with code cef5b.
IMPORTANT:
- DPL counts books read only (not minutes or pages read)
- When signing up for Reader Zone, please enter your Date of Birth to insure you’re in the right age bracket
- Parents: you can sign up all kids in one account or they can each have their own.
See Ms. Zoie or Ms. Brittany in our Youth Services Room if you have any questions.
