Poet Harry Moore will discuss his latest book We the People: Confessions of a Caucasian Southerner. This collection of poems looks back across the decades to his “happy rural childhood” in the American South. Rather than an exercise in nostalgia, these poems are confession, and contrition, a reckoning for the long history of inequity that is the legacy of the South.
