Book Babies is designed for children from birth to age 3. We read short books, sing action songs, and participate in fingerplays around a theme. In June our theme will be animals in the zoo! We’ll also have a simple craft or activity. All are welcome!
Elementary kids are invited to come play Roblox with others at the library. Group games will be played on a private server (this will keep games between people in the group only). You must have your own Roblox account to play. Please share your avatar name with Ms. Anna before the 15th.
Special guest Tammy Abusaleem from Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will read stories about diversity and community. We’ll also have a coloring page and a game! All are welcome to this free event.
DPL will be CLOSED on Monday, June 19th, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday, June 20th, at 10am.
All children are invited to this story time about expressing love! Ms. Mary will read stories and lead the kids in songs. There will also be a craft to go along with the stories.

On LEGO® Morning, we’ll have our LEGO® bricks out in the Youth Services room. Kids can stop by and create at their leisure or take our challenge.
Ranger Daphne Moland from Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge will talk about the “web of life”, or wild animals relationships with each other. We’ll also have a coloring sheet and a craft! All kids are welcome to this free event.

In this special story time, a retired DPL employee will tell kids about Indian culture and read the story book Manjhi Moves A Mountain. We’ll also have a craft that ties in and a maze puzzle! All are welcome!
