Interested in learning about field biology techniques like crane counting, bird identification, recording leg bands, and using radio telemetry equipment?
This is the program for you! There will be a slideshow with data sheet to record observations and an activity/demonstration of the tracking equipment to get everyone involved. Participants can learn about the beautiful birds that call Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge and Decatur home during the winter months.
This free program is for older children and adults.
