Programs for Kids

Children’s Programming Calendar

November

December

Story Times

Story Time is for children of all ages. We read stories based on a theme, sing songs, & speak rhymes. It’s fun and interactive.

Book Babies

Book Babies is designed for children from birth to age 3. We read short books, sing action songs, and participate in fingerplays around a different theme each month.   Book Babies will help develop the abilities children will need when they learn to read.

LEGO® Programs

On LEGO Morning, we’ll have our LEGO bricks out in the Youth Services Room from 10am – 12pm for kids to stop by & create at their leisure.  (We sometimes have LEGO Afternoons, too!)

LEGO Hour, meets in the Community Room for a 45 minute build session inspired by a challenge, followed by sharing of our creations.  (Currently meeting in Youth Services Room due to HVAC issues)

Tweens & Teens

Kids ages 12 – 17 are welcome at the library, too!  We have a section of our bulletin board devoted to puzzles & coloring pages for older kids.  We also offer programs for tweens & teens.  Check our current calendar (linked above) for this month’s events!

This free program encourages you to read 1000 books to your newborn/toddler before they start kindergarten.  More information
